Situation
The Portland Family of Funds is a newly developed Community Investment Bank that needed to communicate its message of social and ecological investment to the local community. They chose Live Axle to design and build their new site.
Solution
Live Axle researched the new entity and similar groups to come up with a content approach that would achieve the Fund's goals. We designed a look and feel that portrayed the professional, conservative, yet community-oriented nature of the group. Live Axle also developed a complex application for tracking projects through their various stages of approval and development. Using our experience with content management, Live Axle provided a solution built on PHP and MySQL that includes administrative tools for their non-technical staff to make updates for in both the public and board sites.
Result
The website communicates at the highest level to potential investors, politicians and the community at large who the Portland Family of Funds is and how the group plans to support sustainable growth in the Portland Metropolitan area.
