Situation
QUALCOMM CDMA Technologies' (QCT) website had become difficult to maintain and no longer represented the professional image QCT wanted to project. There were also issues with the navigation and visitors couldn't find the content they were looking for.
Solution
Live Axle stepped in to completely overhaul the site. First we created a new and intuitive Information Architecture that provided easy access to a wealth of new information that would be contained in the site. Next we developed a new backend built with Interwoven's TeamSite content management system. And finally we designed a new look and feel that represented a professional yet exciting image. This project gave us the opportunity to showcase our abilities to develop with JSP, Oracle, Flash, Windows Media and Quicktime.
Result
By building the site with Interwoven's TeamSite content management system, Live Axle enabled QCT to manage and post their own content to the site, eliminating many of their outside costs and increasing the speed at which vital information could be posted to the website.
