Situation
QUALCOMM CDMA Technologies (QCT), a producer of integrated circuits and software for the Wireless Communications Industry, wanted to refresh and restructure their website to better showcase QCT's platform solutions and industry-leading 3G products.
Solution
Live Axle crafted a new and intuitive information architecture providing easy access to information about QCT's platforms and product offerings. Next we designed a new look and feel that highlighted the professional and dynamic qualities of QCT. And finally we developed the new templates and migrated hundreds of pages of content using Interwoven's TeamSite content management system. This project gave us the opportunity to showcase our abilities to develop with JSP, Oracle, Flash, Windows Media and Quicktime.
Result
The final website has been well received by QCT's wide range of audiences, including wireless device manufacturers, network operators and content developers. Three months after the launch of the new site, page views are consistently 30% higher. By building the site with Interwoven's TeamSite content management system, Live Axle enabled QCT to manage and post their own content to the site, eliminating many of their outside costs and increasing the speed at which vital information could be posted to the website.
