Situation
QUALCOMM CDMA Technologies (QCT) needed a way to communicate the complexities of their chipsets' new camera capabilities in an interesting and effective way. They had the technical specifications and the data sheets but needed a way to tell the story to a non-technical audience.
Solution
Live Axle poured over datasheets, PowerPoint presentations and interviewed Product Managers and Engineers in order to write and develop a Flash-based educational piece. We created a Flash presentation that delivers high-level information in a self-running format and gives users the opportunity to drill down into the details. Whenever possible we illustrated and animated the content to clarify concepts and to keep the viewer engaged.
Result
The demo has been welcomed by the product management team and has become part of their presentation portfolio. The Qcamera presentation is especially successful as an introduction to QUALCOMM's chipsets' camera capabilities. The Flash piece has also been utilized online as a highlighted item on the QCT home page.
