Situation
QUALCOMM CDMA Technologies (QCT) wanted to show potential uses for the video telephony feature that their chipsets enable. They were looking for ways to communicate the possibilities to a global audience in a quick and memorable way.
Solution
Live Axle developed a script that showcased video telephony in a way that had broad global and emotional appeal. We developed the phone form factor, the conceptual applications and interfaces, and produced all the video contained in this conceptual demonstration. The demo blends Flash, video and audio to create a rich experience designed to play on a variety of end user platforms.
Result
By capturing a timely moment that couldn't be communicated in words or still pictures this demonstration communicates the possibilities of video telephony for a mass audience. This movie is used in product presentations around the world and is available online.
